Watch: Majozi’s new music video
Majozi recently released the music video for his single, Someday.
Directed by Tim Hay from Durban (who also directed the video for Majozi’s previous single, The River), the video was shot in a little forest in Ballito during November 2014 over the course of two days.
“The video is very vibrant and there is a lot of dancing and fun portrayed in it, which is pretty much what I hope people do and feel when they hear the song.”
The video features a bunch of friends getting together in a forest and subsequently throwing colour at each other. Majozi describes the making of the video as one of his favourite experiences seeing as he could include a lot of his friends in the video and have them share in the fun.
“Fans can definitely look forward to my dance moves in the video which are worthy of So You Think You Can Dance! Look out for them combined with beautiful colours.”
There’s a lot to look forward to for the musician who has officially signed with the esteemed Virgin Records/Universal Music South Africa. Aside from opening for international band, The Lumineers, in December 2014, his new single, Someday, was released in November 2014 and fans can look forward to the release of a new EP early 2015.
