Watch: Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest video
Last week, Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepsen released the official lead single I Really Like You from her upcoming third studio album whose title and release date have yet to be revealed.
I Really Like You is of course, trying to follow in the footsteps of Jepsen’s past number one hit song Call Me Maybe with its catchy pop tune and simplistic lyrics. However, unlike Call Me Maybe, Jepsen’s latest features an 80’s style beat that fits in well and is completely irrestistable.
Jepsen has now released the song’s music video on Youtube via VEVO, and as previously mentioned, the video features Forrest Gump actor Tom Hanks with a cameo from megastar Justin Bieber.
Hanks appears throughout most of the video waking up and strolling around the city lip-synching Jepsen’s song. Jepsen at least makes an appearance but only during the climax as she and Hanks are seen dancing away with a large group of people. Bieber surfaces towards the end joining Jepsen and Hanks in the front row as the three stars appear to be having a good time.
