Friends star and regular comedy actress Jennifer Aniston turns to drama this time around and produces what could be her most serious and demanding role yet in Cake.
Cake tells the story of Claire Simmons (Jennifer Aniston) – a chronic pain sufferer who becomes obsessed with the suicide of Nina (Anna Kendrick) – one of Claire’s former chronic pain group members. Anyway, Claire begins investigating Nina’s suicide by making contact with Nina’s husband and asking questions. Could this just be the cure Claire needs to salvage herself from her own pain?
