Warriors Still Fierce After Lesotho Win

October 20, 2015

While the Zim national men’s national football team, the Warriors, may have won their highly anticipated game against Lesotho, their coach is insisting that they will not yet rest on their laurels.

The Warriors demolished Lesotho on Sunday in the first leg of the 2016 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier. The Warriors scored an impressive three goals against Lesotho’s zero.

However, while the win was great for Zimbabwe and the Warriors, coach Kalisto Pasuwa has said that it by no means means that the team is holding back or resting on their laurels:

“…[sic] We will have to prepare well and we should fight in the second leg…So, as it stands, its game on and if we scored three goals at home, what can stop them from scoring three at home in the second leg…[sic] {We} have to fight and work on the errors and areas of penetration especially in the first half. We started slowly but we came back well in the second” he said.
