Warriors Ready For Chan

Zimbabwe’s national football team, the Warriors, looks ready to take on the action i the upcoming Chan finals in Rwanda.

According to Warriors playmaker, Raphael Manuvire, the tea is ready to give it their all and he believes that they are capable of making it ti at least the finals of the Chan championship.

The 2016 African Nations Championship (Chan) will held in Rwanda later this month.

The Warriors are currently at a training camp for the tournament and will fly out to Rwanda next week. They will then face off against Zambia in their first clash of the tournament on January 19th.

Manuvire strongly believes that his team has what it takes and told reporters that he is confident his team can pull it off:

“…[sic] Everybody wants us to do well in the Chan tournament. We have been drawn in a very tough group, but we will be capable to fight…I think we have got a balanced squad, a mixture of youngsters and experienced players. And with the type of players we have, I think we can reach the finals,”

He continued saying that his team is highly committed to doing well in the tournament:

“The good thing is, everyone is committed and we are pushing each other to work hard. If we maintain the same spirit then nothing can stop us from doing well at the tournament,” he said.
