Warriors Move Up In FIFA Ratings
Zimbabwe’s national football team, the Warriors, have been moved up on FIFA’s international rankings. And while it’s not a massive jump, it is an indication that the Zimbabwean team is moving in the right direction.
The latest edition of the Fifa/Coca Cola World Rankings released yesterday, and showed that the Warriors had moved up two places on the rankings.
Zimbabwe went from number 110 to number 108.
Belgium was ranked as the number one national team on FIFA’s latest rankings, followed by Argentina, Spain and Germany. As for the African teams, the top African team is still Ivory Coast, followed by Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde and Tunisia.
As for the Warriors, we are sure they are pretty impressed with their new ranking as they are busy training for the 2016 African Nations Championship at a training camp.
The Warriors take on Mali, Uganda and Zambia in the group stages of the competition.
