Veteran actor Taylor Negron dies

 Veteran actor and comedian Taylor Negron has passed away. The actor lost his battle with cancer and passed away on Saturday January 10 at the age of 57.

Ngeron’s cousin and Three Dog Night band member Chuck Negron, posted a very emotional Youtube message announcing the news.

In the clip the musician said: "I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex, my brother Rene, and his wife were all there with him. May he rest in peace. I just wanted all you people who knew him and loved him to know that he just passed.”

Taylor was famous for his guest roles on a string of hit TV shows such as Friends, Seinfeld, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Hope & Gloria, ER as well as So Little Time starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

The actor also appeared in TV shows That’s So Raven, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

He had an impressive acting career and has graced our TV screens and the big screen for four decades appearing in films like 1982’s Fast Times at Ridgemont High, 1983’s Easy Money, 1988’s Punchline, 1991’s The Last Boy Scout, 1994’s Angels in the Outfield, and 1999’s Stuart Little.

He was a respected comic and when news of his death broke, other actors and comic took to their Twitter to pay their respects.

Ben Stiller, who worked with Negron on The Ben Stiller show wrote: "Taylor Negron was a very smart, funny caring individual with a unique comedic voice. #RESPECT."

While fellow veteran comic Billy Crystal tweeted: "So sad to hear of the loss of @Taylor_Negron. Brilliantly funny comedian actor and wonderful painter. #RestInPeace."

John Mulaney, a former writer for Saturday Night Live wrote, "I had a conversation with Taylor Negron one night at an SNL after party. He was so kind and funny and I think about it all the time. RIP."
