Vanessa Hudgens & Ludacris to Host The 2017 Billboard Music Awards
Everybody is getting excited about the Billboard Music Awards taking place this Sunday, 21 May, and now that the show’s hosts have been revealed, we are even more excited!
ABC television network has confirmed that this year’s hosts are none other than ‘Spring Breakers’ and ‘Grease’ star, Vanessa Hudgens, and everyone’s favourite rapper/actor/comedian, Ludacris.
While this will be Hudgens’ first gig as host of the popular music award show, it is Ludacris’ fourth time hosting the show.
The Billboard Music Awards are famous for their iconic performances.
It was at the 2002 Billboard Music Awards that legendary rocker, Steven Tyler and Busta Rhymes performed their iconic tribute to Run D.M.C. It was also where a young Britney Spears shocked everyone with her sexy moves during her ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ performance in 1999.
Judging by the lineup for this year’s award show, there will certainly emerge some legendary performances.
Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Halsey and Lorde are just some of the performers of the evening and will all debut new music.
However, the two acts we are most excited about are undoubtedly the absolutely iconic, Cher, and equally stunning, Celine Dion.
This year’s award show will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will broadcast live on Sunday, 21 May.
