Vanessa Hudgens & Ludacris Excited to Host BMA’s

It was announced earlier in the week that rapper Ludacris and actress Vanessa Hudgens will be hosting this year’s Billboard Music Awards, and it seems that the two hosts can’t wait to get on stage this Sunday.

Speaking to E! News, the two hosts said that they are both excited for the big night, and also gave us some inside info into what we can expect from the duo on Sunday.

Interestingly enough, Ludacris and Vanessa have never met each other! Talk about being thrown in the deep end…

However, that doesn’t seem to bother Vanessa, who said that she is excited to co-host with Ludacris.

“He seems like a really cool guy…I think I might give him a little more energy than what he’s used to, but we’ll just have to wait and see. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun,” she said.

While this will be Vanessa’s first time hosting the popular awards show, it is Ludacris’ fourth time as host.

He said that the most important thing to do as host, is to keep the energy up.

“It’s really just about saying a prayer and making sure we do this job and bring the energy that is going to resonate to people around the world that are watching, and to have a great show! [sic]” he said.

Vanessa hinted at a few costume changes during the show, adding that she will have an amazing team with her to assist with her various looks.

“I’m actually gonna have a really amazing team to help me elevate my look so you’ll just see the ultra-glam version [sic]” she said.
