Unicorn? No, Meet Narwhal the Puppy

November 15, 2019

When you read this, you’re bound to be as happy as a dog with two tails – which is exactly the case with a puppy named “Narwhal”.

The 10-month-old abandoned pup with two tails was found by Mac’s Mission, a Missouri animal rescue group that tends to dogs with special needs, injuries or abuse.

Narwhal has been been trending across social media since Wednesday, 13 November 2019, when it was shown that he has an extra tail on his forehead – with many comparing him to the mythical unicorn, and the Narwhal, which lead to his name.

He is currently in the care of Rochelle Steffen, the founder of the shelter in the town of Jackson. He has been checked out by a vet, and looks to be in perfect health – the extra tail has no bones, and won’t cause any future problems.

The additional appendage hasn’t stopped the internet from falling in love with Narwhal.

Actor Zach Braff enthusiastically tweeted: “CAN HE WAG IT?!?!?! ANSWER ME IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I NEED HIM.”

The outpouring of attention from across the world has left Steffen stunned. She claims that “about 17 000 people” want to adopt the unique pup.
