Unbeaten Leeds Host High-Flying Bournemouth

September 26, 2025

Leeds United will host Bournemouth at Elland Road this Saturday, 27 September, aiming to preserve a flawless home record against the Cherries.

The Whites have won all eight previous league meetings in West Yorkshire, England, a streak they are keen to extend.

Daniel Farke’s side arrive in good spirits after a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton last weekend, where Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor opened their English Premier League (EPL) goal accounts for the 2025-26 campaign.

“To score goals and to be there with the end product is always beneficial,” Farke said during the pre-match press conference on Thursday, 25 September, emphasising the confidence such a result can bring.

Leeds remain unbeaten at home this season and have yet to concede any goals in front of their supporters. However, they face a stern test against Andoni Iraola’s men, who sit fourth in the EPL table with 10 points and boast goals in 16 of their last 17 away games.

The hosts may be without Wilfried Gnonto, Daniel James and Lucas Perri, due to various injuries. Bournemouth travel without Adam Smith and Enes Unal, but Justin Kluivert could see more playing time.

With both sides in encouraging form, a tight contest is expected, though Elland Road’s history suggests Leeds will fancy their chances of another positive result.
