Twitter reacts to new ‘Generations’
A few months ago Generations creator Mfundi Vundla jetted to an island far away to conceptualise and come up with a new plan for the much loved local soapie amidst actors striking for higher pay. This plan would be one that didn’t include giving into the demands of the actors who went on strike and garnered mass support as well as criticism from both media and fans.
So the soapie went into a brief hiatus and it was announced that on December 1, an all new Generations would be back on screens and last night was the first episode of Generations Legacy, which aired with a largely new cast featuring some old faces including Connie Ferguson as Karabo and Rapulana Seiphemo as Tau.
The episode aired in a new 8pm timeslot and began trending on Twitter within minutes.
