Tottenham Hotspur Sign Vincent Janssen
English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur, has announced that they have signed Dutch striker, Vincent Janssen to their team.
Janssen, signed with Tottenham from Dutch club, AZ Alkmaar, on a four year contract. Reports suggest that Janssen’s transfer fee was £17 million.
22-year old Janssen has made quite a name for himself over recent years. Last season, he finished as the top scorer in the Dutch league with 27 goals.
He was also awarded the Johan Cruyff trophy for Young Player of The Year.
English football fans are also familiar with Janssen, as he managed to score a goal during a friendly match between England and the Netherlands back in March.
“…We are delighted to announce the signing of Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar, subject to international clearance…The striker has signed a contract with the club until 2020,” Tottenham said about the signing.
