Toni Braxton Loses $5 Million Engagement Ring
Toni Braxton has lost her $5 million dollar engagement ring, after mistakenly leaving her luggage on a plane during a recent flight.
The 51-year-old singer confirmed her engagement to rapper Bryan Christopher “Birdman” Williams in February after nearly two years of dating.
According to reports, the “Un-Break My Heart” hitmaker was travelling from New York to Los Angeles with Delta Airlines on Tuesday, 20 November.
Later, she tweeted out that she had accidentally left her Louis Vuitton hand luggage – in which she kept the yellow diamond ring – back on the aircraft.
Braxton then followed up with an update: “Hey everyone, @delta located my LV Train Case! Yay! Unfortunately most of my jewelry items are missing … including MY ENGAGEMENT RING! Whoever BORROWED it … PLEEEASE return it!!!! I promise, no questions asked! [sic]”
A source close to Braxton told a media publication that the singer is in contact with Delta Airlines, who are working on locating the missing ring.
