Danny Masterson has been arrested and charged with three counts of rape.

The 44-year-old actor – best known for his role as Steven Hyde on the television series, “That ‘70s Show” – was arrested late on Wednesday morning, 17 June, in Los Angeles, California.

He was taken into police custody, before he was released on a $3.3 million bail a few hours later.

According to reports, Masterson stands accused of raping a 23-year-old woman between January and December 2001. He also allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman in April 2003, as well as another 23-year-old woman sometime between October and December of that year.

These incidents allegedly all took place at Masterson’s Hollywood Hills home.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office also announced that it declined to file sexual assault charges against “The Ranch” star in two other cases due to insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations.

If found guilty of these rape charges, Masterson faces a sentence of up to 45 years to life in state prison.
