Taylor Swift to Release New Music?

Taylor Swift may be on the verge of dropping a brand new album, and Swifties all over the world are losing their minds.

It has been three years since Taylor released her mega-successful fifth album, ‘1989’, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the pop star to release her sixth studio album.

‘1989’ is undoubtedly Taylor’s most successful album yet and saw the 27-year-old blonde beauty win the coveted ‘Album of the Year’ award at last year’s Grammys.

Taylor has been flying under the radar for the past few months. She has not been seen out in public for nearly six months, and has been very quiet on all of her social media channels.

However, that all changed over the weekend when she suddenly purged all her social media accounts, deleting every post and picture off of her Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. She also disabled her website.

This, of course, sent Swifties into overdrive, with thousands of fans interpreting the social media blackout as a sign that something big is on the way.

Things intensified when Taylor posted a loop-video of what appears to be a snake’s tail on her Instagram account yesterday.

The ‘snake’ theme has been very prominent in Taylor’s life over the past few months. Since 2016, she has been surrounded by drama and multiple ‘feuds’ with celebrities such as Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Calvin Harris and Katy Perry. Since then, her social media accounts began to flood with snake emojis, as the public’s image of Taylor shifted from favourable to less-than favourable.

Some fans have theorised that Taylor’s return to the spotlight and possible new album will touch on her so-called ‘fall from grace’ and possibly reveal a darker side to the sweet-as-candy pop star.

We can only wait and see, but one thing seems certain – we’ll have a catchy Taylor Swift song stuck in our heads before the end of the year.
