Taylor Swift Snaps Back At Kim K
This may just be one of the biggest celebrity feuds in the making – and we can’t say that we’re not entertained!
Reality queen, Kim Kardashian and pop princess, Taylor Swift are the latest celebrities feuding – albeit passive aggressively – with each other.
It all started when Kim spoke of Taylor in her latest GQ magazine interview.
Talking about her husband, Kanye West’s track ‘Famous’ – which features the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that bitch famous,”, Kim said that he had contacted Taylor before releasing the song to get her approval.
According to Kanye and Kim, Taylor did give her blessing and even said that she would “laugh about it” on the Grammy red carpet.
Kim told the magazine:
“…She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t…I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things when he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved…It was funny because on the call with Kanye, Taylor said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, ‘The joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time,”
She then continued saying that Taylor was merely ‘playing the victim’ again:
“…And I’m like, wait, but in your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again,”
Ouch.
After a day or two of Kim’s comments being plastered in every tabloid, Taylor (or her representative rather) decided to clapback:
“…Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect,” a statement from camp Taylor read.
She then threw in even more of a diss when she said she can’t “understand why Kanye or Kim doesn’t want to leave her alone [sic]”
“..Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone,” the statement read.
Round one, and fight! We’ll have to wait and see if Kimmy responds.
