Tatenda Mkuruva Signs With Cape Town City FC
South African football club, Cape Town City, has announced that they have signed Zimbabwean international goalkeeper, Tatenda Mkuruva, to their team.
Mkuruva was previously signed to Zimbabwean Premier League club, Dynamos. He is also a regular feature for The Warriors, and was the first-choice goalkeeper during the recent AFCON tournament.
Cape Town City made the official announcement on their Twitter account today, welcoming the 20-year-old to their club.
“SIGNING ALERT! We are proud to announce that Tatenda Mkuruva is officially a Cape Town City FC player,” the club tweeted.
Mkuruva has signed a three-year deal with the Cape Town-based club.
Cape Town City has made a lot of new signings during the recent January transfer window, including the signing of Edmilson Dove, Letsie Koapeng and Siyabonga Dubula.
Cape Town City is currently third on the South African PSL log. Their next match is on Saturday at the Cape Town Stadium against rivals, Ajax Cape Town. The game will start at 5pm local time.
