South Africa Dominate Africa Hockey Championships
The Greenfields Africa Hockey Championships are currently underway, and neighbouring country, South Africa, is taking the lead in both the mens and womens divisions.
In what was probably the biggest upset of the tournament, was South Africa’s men’s side demolition of the Botswana. The South African team managed to beat Botswana by a staggering 30 points to 0.
The South African women’s team also proved their worth by beating Nigeria 15 points to 0.
Next up, the SA women tackled Namibia on Monday on won before meeting Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
South Africa’s men’s team will face Ghana on Tuesday (today).
