Simba Nhivi SIgns With Tanzanian Side Singida United
Former Caps United player, Simba Nhivi, has shaken things up once again, when he confirmed that he signed a transfer deal with Tanzanian club, Singida United.
Nhivi, has proved to be a prominent player for the Warriors, having made ten appearances and having scored a goal against Mozambique. He is, however, somewhat of a restless player and this latest transfer news is not all that surprising, given his track record.
Nhivi joined Caps United in 2011, after which he transferred to South African Premier League side, Mamelodi Sundowns in 2012.
However, his spell with Mamelodi Sundowns was not as successful as he had hoped, and he failed to make an appearance for the famous South African club.
Nhivi’s next move was to Zimbabwe, where he joined local club, Dynamos in 2013.
However, his back and forth between Zim and South Africa continued as he returned to South Africa the following season to play for SuperSport United in 2014.
He made five appearances for the South African club before coming back home to the Dynamos in 2015.
Singida United released a statement today confirming the signing of Nhivi.
“We have a two year contract with the player from Caps United, who once played for Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa [sic],” the club said.
Nhivi will join fellow Zimbabweans, Tafadzwa Kutinyu, Elisha Muroiwa and Wisdom Mutasa who also play for Singida United in Tanzania.
