Sergio Aguero Receives Four-Match Ban

December 06, 2016

Manchester City star striker, Sergio Aguero, has been handed a four-match ban after the Argentinian international violently tackled David Luiz during Manchester United’s most recent match against Chelsea.

Chelsea went on to win the match 3 – 1.

Aguero received a red card during the game, after he violently tackled David Luiz in what has been described as an illegal, two-footed lunge.

The tackle sparked a frenzy at the Etihad stadium, with coaching staff and other players soon getting involved after Aguero was shown a red card.

It sparked so much of a frenzy that fellow Manchester City player, Fernandinho, was also sent off the field. He will subsequently serve a three-match ban alongside Aguero.
