Sell Your Face to an Unknown Robotic Company for $128 000
Do your friends and family say you have a “kind and friendly face”? Like the idea of earning $128 000 for doing practically nothing? Why not sell the rights to use your face to an undisclosed company.
The anonymous private company is offering one lucky individual the chance to be the face of their range of robots, and earn a little over $128 800 in the process.
Geomiq, a company that develops and creates products and prototypes, put out the appeal to the public on behalf of the partner company that needs help putting the “finishing touches on a state-of-the-art humanoid robot”.
They claim the business entity is privately-funded and is creating a line of robots that will act as a “virtual friend” for elderly people, which is due to begin production next year.
Geomiq explains in a blog post: “Details of the project are scarce due to a non-disclosure agreement we’ve signed with the designer and his investors.”
