Selena Gomez to Host WE Day 2017, Demi Lovato & Others Perform

Selena Gomez has confirmed that she will host this year’s WE Day in California on the April 27th.

WE Day is an organisation that celebrates the youth and people making a difference in the lives of young people.

The aim of the event is to bring together local ‘change-makers’ to share ideas on social issues and help bring about change in the world.

Selena released a statement saying that she is excited to be a part of this day.

“My first WE Day experience was 3 years ago and to say I was impressed is an understatement…The electricity of an arena full of thousands of young people who are making real change in the world is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I am grateful to be a part of such a supportive community and hope I can inspire the kids at WE Day just as they continue to inspire me,” she said.

Other celebs will also be attending – and performing – at the event, including Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys and The Muppets’ Miss Piggy.
