Selena Gomez Reveals Illness

Pop superstar, Selena Gomez, has revealed that she was diagnosed with Lupus last year and she had undergone chemo therapy to help ease her illness.

Speaking to the press ahead of her much anticipated new album release, Gomez said that she was diagnosed with Lupus when she went out of the spotlight earlier this year, and that the reason she was on ‘a break’ was to undergo chemotherapy to help treat the devastating disease.

“…[sic] I was diagnosed with lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy. That’s what my break was really about. I could’ve had a stroke,” she told a magazine interviewer.

Justin Bieber’s ex then went on to say how scary the experience was for her and how thankful she is to be healthy again.

Gomez’ much anticipated new album, ‘Revival’, is set to drop in just a few days and if the first lead single is anything to go by, we can expect some serious power pop from the 23-year old starlet.

Gomez said that this is a very personal album for her and that she is excited for her fans to catch a glimpse of her heart.
