SA’s Wits Impressed By Mutizwa

By the looks of things, Highlanders striker, Knox Mutizwa, may be joining South Africa’s premier league club, Bidvest Wits, soon. 

Knox is has been on trial with the South African side for the past four days, and, according to reports from South Africa, he is really impressing the bosses over at Wits.

Gibson Manachi, Mutizwa’s agent, said that he did extremely well in his trials, but that he would have to go back for a final week of assessment.

“…[He] did very well. He has impressed and they want him back for final assessment this week,” he said in a statement.

Mutizwa was the top goal scorer of this season’s Zimbabwean Premier League after he scored 14 goals during the season.

Before his trials at Wits, he was also suspected to be eyeing a move to Sweden as well as a possible move to two other South African clubs.
