Salah: We Want the Premier League Points
Liverpool is aware of the threat that Manchester United will pose at Old Trafford on Sunday, 24 February, but that won’t stop them from grabbing three more points for their English Premier League (EPL) campaign, says Mohamed Salah.
Manchester City and the Reds occupy first and second place on the EPL log respectively, but share 65 points each.
The 26-year-old is confident of his team-mates’ ability to perform, and noted the threat that their rivals, Man United, pose.
The Egyptian forward said: “[Man United] have a good team and now they are winning … so they have confidence, but at the end of the day, we want to win the game. Whoever we play against, we want to win the game.”
He added: “To enjoy it is not enough, from my side. At the end of the day, you have a target in your mind, you have a dream, you want to win the [English] Premier League.”
The match starts at 16:05 (GMT).
