SA musos get BET nominations

Three South African musicians have garnered international recognition as they have been nominated for BET Awards.

For those who are unaware, the BET awards honour African Americans in the entertainment industry such as musicians, actors, sport stars etc.

Fellow South African musicians: hip-hop star AKA and acapella group The Soil have been nominated for “Best International Act: Africa”.

Meanwhile, other SA hip-hop artist Cassper Nyovest scored a nomination for “Viewer’s Choice Award: Best New International Act”.
