Ryan Lochte is Engaged
US Olympic swimmer, Ryan Lochte, is officially off the market as he and girlfriend, Kayla Rae Reid, announced their engagement on Instagram over the weekend.
Ryan shared a picture of him kissing Kayla with a huge rock on her finger on Sunday evening, with the caption: “Memories forever!!! #thelochtes #LA,”
Kayla then added “…Speechless. Absolutely beautiful. So in love with YOU.”
Ryan apparently took Kayla to the Malibu Canyon in California where he popped the question to the former Playboy model.
Ryan, who is still busy with rehearsals for his Dancing with The Stars gig, is in the spotlight again after his big Rio Olympics scandal.
However, he certainly seems to have moved on from all the bad press, by proposing to his lady love.
The two have reportedly been dating since January of this year. He even told USA Today that he knows she is ‘the one.’
“…My family says, ‘Don’t you think it’s a little too soon?’ I’m like, ‘Can you put a time on love? Can you?…[sic] When I realized this was ‘the one’ was when she stuck behind me through this. She still loves me and she’s still right there with me,” he said.
