Ronaldo’s Unbelievable Juventus Salary Revealed

September 05, 2018

According to an Italian sports newspaper, Cristiano Ronaldo earns more than three times the next best-paid player in the Italian Serie A league.

Despite not yet scoring a goal for Juventus this season, the Portuguese star is currently earning an incredible €31 million per season.

The next highest paid player, Gonzalo Higuain, who plays for AC Milan, is only getting €9.5 million per season.

It comes as no surprise that CR7 is the highest-paid player in the league, having won the Champions League three times in a row, and the Ballon d’Or award five times.

However, many view the wage gap between the 33-year-old forward and the other Serie A players as shocking.

Juventus have the largest wage budget in the league. Ronaldo’s teammate, Paulo Dybala, is the third highest paid player in the league, earning €31 million per season.

In fact, only three non-Juventus players made the list of the top 10 highest paid players in Serie A.
