Rojo Says Mourinho Has a Plan for Him

Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo, recently told reporters that Man United manager, Jose Mourinho, has a plan for him, despite the lack of playing time the Argentinian international has had.

Rojo has not made as many appearances for Manchester United as his counterparts Luke Shaw and Daley Blind – who are the preferred choices for the left-back position.

However, this does not seem to have made Rojo doubt his place at Old Trafford, as he recently said that Mourinho has a plan for him and that he was counting on him as an integral part of the team:

“…A lot had been said about how he [Mourinho] didn’t want me…But, from the first day that I arrived, he told me that he had me in mind and that he was counting on me…He is a very good and very demanding manager. I like the way he thinks and how he treats his players. I was pleasantly surprised. I have to keep working to earn more playing time on the field now, which is what I want,” he recently told a radio station.
