Stay strong, “Riverdale” stans: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart may be over, but we will always have the memories.
According to multiple sources, the couple – who both star in the teen drama, “Riverdale” – have broken up, and this isn’t the first time.
The 27-year-old actor and the 23-year-old actress were previously rumoured to have gone their separate ways in July last year, but they set the record straight in a magazine publication in the same month.
In the article, they candidly told fans: “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids.”
Speculation that the pair had been dating for two years – before news of their supposed break-up surfaced – however they kept playing coy about being an item.
It wasn’t until the 2018 Met Gala that the pair made their first red carpet appearance, and removed all doubt.
Neither Reinhart nor Sprouse have publicly commented on the apparent split.
