“Riverdale” Super Couple Split Up
Sorry, “Riverdale” fans: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have broken up after two years of dating.
The former couple – who play on-screen item, Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper, on the hit television show – sparked dating rumours back in 2017, after they were seen kissing at the annual Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
A year later, they confirmed their romance after making their red-carpet debut together at the Met Gala in New York City.
Now, according to reports, Sprouse and Reinhart decided to call it quits earlier in the summer.
A source told a media outlet that they are “intentionally keeping their distance from the other.”
However, they appeared cordial when they both participated in a “Riverdale” panel discussion at Comic-Con on Sunday, 21 July.
As for any hopes of a reconciliation, the same source added: “Right now, it’s unclear where things stand, but it seems [like] they could be heading back in the direction of getting together.”
