Report: Man United to Make James Rodriguez Signing Public
Reports are suggesting that English Premier League club, Manchester United, will soon make the signing of Real Madrid midfielder, James Rodriguez, public.
Rumours over the past few weeks suggested that the Red Devils have signed a transfer deal with the 25-year-old for next season, and now it seems that an official announcement is imminent.
A Spanish football source said that a deal between Real Madrid and Manchester United was struck towards the end of this season for the services of the Colombian player. However, no word on a transfer amount has been mentioned.
Furthermore, Spanish newspapers reported that Rodriguez has put his Spanish house up for sale, which indicates that he is planning to move.
Another Spanish source said that Manchester United will make the official announcement of Rodriguez’ signing after Real Madrid’s game against Malaga on Sunday. This will be the Spanish club’s last La Liga game of the season.
In related news, it has been reported that Manchester United’s star goalkeeper, David de Gea, will make the move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
De Gea had previously requested a transfer to Real Madrid at the end of last season, but was turned down by Manchester United management.
