Remembering Robin in his best scenes

The sudden and tragic loss of one of Hollywood’s greatest comedians and actors Robin Williams hit the world this morning like a punch in the stomach.

The Oscar-winning actor died from suspected suicide on Monday morning after a battle with depression, triggering an outpouring of anguished tributes to one of the most beloved entertainers of his generation.

President Barack Obama described the entertainer as "one of a kind" and renowned Hollywood director and close friend said that Williams was a "lightning storm of comic genius".

Williams will forever be remembered as a titan in his field and left an indelible mark on Hollywood with memorable performances in illustrious films like Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam and Mrs Doubtfire.

He will be sorely missed and we can always be grateful that he leaves behind such a rich legacy. In no particular order, here are some of the actor’s most memorable scenes:
