President Zuma To Arrive in Zimbabwe Today

South African President Jacob Zuma is said to be arriving in Harare, Zimbabwe, today. He has come to visit the African country for the official opening of the establishing session of the Bi-National Commission (BNC).

It has been reported that Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe, and Zuma with co-chair the commission. The two countries signed a Bi-National Commission agreement in April of last year, when Mugabe was visiting South Africa. The agreement requires the heads of state to meet annually to determine the progress on the execution of shared projects.

The overall aim of the commission is to guide bilateral relations between South Africa and Zimbabwe, while endeavoring to promote and improve how various sectors within the two governments cooperate.
According to sources, Zuma is expected to be accompanied by six ministers.
