Pogba, United Management Eye Transfer
Manchester United midfielder Pogba is looking for a new home elsewhere – he has recently received offers from Real Madrid and Juventus – but mixed signals from club management and team manager Ole Solskjaer are putting his future on hold.
The French footballer has previously voiced interest in leaving the Red Devils, but his 46-year-old Norwegian manager wants him to be part of their 2019/2020 season.
The 26-year-old central midfielder said: “After everything that happened this season, with what was my best season as well, I think for me it can be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.[sic]”
Real Madrid made their opening move by offering a £90 million deal, which is seen as a cheeky proposition in the face of United valuing the star player at £150 million.
United’s management is primarily concerned with Pogba’s behaviour and influence on his younger teammates, which many predict will fuel his transfer.
However, such a move would potentially derail Solskjaer’s plans to build a squad around the young football star.
