Pogba Hungry To Score More Goals for United
Manchester United star, Paul Pogba, has said that he is hungry to score more goals for his club, after he scored a brilliant goal for United in their game against Swansea City over the weekend.
Pogba scored the opening goal in United’s game against Swansea City on Sunday. Manchester United went on to win the match, 3 – 1.
While this was only Pogba’s second goal since rejoining Manchester United in the Premier League, it was somewhat of a redeeming goal for the French international, as he had been criticised as of late for his lack of goal scoring.
Pogba recently told the media that he hopes to score more goals in the upcoming future:
“…I have to see it again but I think this is one of the best goals I have scored for Manchester United…But I hope to score more goals. They do not have to be beautiful, but I just want to score to help the team keep winning and to carry on like this,” he said.
He continued, saying that the win over Swansea was very important for United, as it broke their losing streak:
“…I think every player wanted to win this game and everyone was focused…We gave it our best and gave everything, the first half was unbelievable. It was one of the best first-half performances so far and that’s how we have to play,” he concluded.
