Pogba Happy To Be Back At United
French international, Paul Pogba, has said that he is very happy to be back at Manchester United and that returning to Old Trafford felt like ‘coming home.’
In what was somewhat of tumultuous signing, the 23-year old finally made the much anticipated move back to Manchester United from Juventus for a reported record transfer deal of £89 million.
Pogba had previously been signed with United back in 2012, but was transferred to Juventus where he spent the next four years.
When Jose Mourinho took over as manager of United earlier this year, however, he made it clear that one of his must-have signings for the new season would be Pogba.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, Pogba said that it was a wonderful feeling returning to Old Trafford:
“…There’s no words, to be honest, there’s no words. I just came back to Carrington. It was like I’d just come back home. I just went for a holiday, looks like I went for a holiday. I’ve come back home, I’m happy and I see everyone, the same persons. It’s just a great feeling, to be honest,” he said.
He continued saying that he believes Manchester United is a club ‘designed’ to win titles and that he will give his all in the hopes of helping his new teammates win titles:
“…This club is created to win titles, to win things, to win big things. I just focus on this and that’s it. I’m just ready to go and work on that and just kill it,” he concluded.
