Pics: Madge’s controversial rebel heart
Madonna has been making headlines this week after her new album campaign drew criticism for images of powerful historical figures photoshopped with bondage strings.
The singer came under fire after urging fans to send through their fan art of other figures who had a rebellious spirit. But things soon backfired when fans posted pictures of Martin Luther King, Princess Diana and Nelson Mandela edited with the same bondage strings Madonna has on the cover of her album, Rebel Heart.
It was reported that The Nelson Mandela Foundation is set to contact Madonna’s lawyers after discovering the doctored images. Bob Marley and Martin Luther King were also doctored and posted on Instagram to promote her new album, Rebel Heart.
