People Announces Sexiest Man Alive
People Magazine have announced their “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2017, and it’s Blake Shelton.
The 41-year-old singer takes the crown from last year’s winner, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson.
The humble country music star said that the first thing that came to mind when he was told was: “Y’all must be running out of people”.
Shelton has credited his girlfriend, fellow singer Gwen Stefani, for convincing him to take the title.
According to Shelton, Stefani said that he would regret it for the rest of his life if he didn’t accept the award.
It’s been a big year for Shelton, whose 11th studio album has just hit number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums list. He also recently celebrated his two-year anniversary with Stefani.
Shelton along with John F. Kennedy Jr., Adam Levine, and David Beckham are the only non-actors to have won the award.
Johnny Depp, Richard Gere, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt are the only men to have won the award twice.
