Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka Call Off Engagement
Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka have reportedly broken up and ended their engagement.
According to media reports, the Hilton Hotels heiress and “The Leftovers” star – who made their relationship public in February 2017 and got engaged in January this year – decided to call it quits earlier this month. The split was said to be amicable.
Their break-up comes after Hilton said that she wanted to push her wedding day to 2019 due to the former couple’s conflicting work schedules, and because she wanted the day to be “perfect”.
A source close to the couple told a media outlet that no one was surprised by the split.
The source explained: “Their relationship moved really quickly, and [Hilton] realised [Zylka] wasn’t right for her. She wishes him well and hopes they can remain friends.”
Hilton seemed to address the break-up on Instagram, quoting Marilyn Monroe: “I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go … Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
