“Just like herpes, when you least expect it, I will be there,” is one of the late comedy icon Joan Rivers’ classic quotes. Always quick with her tongue, she vowed to be pushing comedy for the next hundred years and we’re grateful she came this far. She’s coined fashion phrases like “who are you wearing?”, written 12 best selling novels, nominated for an Emmy, Tony and a Grammy, not to mention her popular show, Fashion Police on E! Entertainment, which introduced her to a whole new and much younger audience.

There’s nothing that Joan Rivers could not do and she gave us a case of the laughs every time she was on the TV screens or on stage.
