NSFW: Watch Maroon 5’s gory new video
Maroon 5 are upping their edge factor with the release of their new music video for single, Animals. The video features frontman Adam Levine stalking his new wife, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, complete with gory sex scenes with flesh and blood.
It’s a very creepy video and quite fitting for the song, which is bound to be a Halloween hit. Some of the lyrics are quite demented, in a pop sort of way, the chorus lyrics are: "Baby, I’m preying on you tonight/Hunt you down, eat you alive/Just like animals." Levine’s stalker alter-ego wears serial killer glasses and takes photos of Prinsloo as she sleeps, follows her to the club and visualizes the two having sex as blood pours down on them.
It’s all very American Psycho so don’t say we didn’t warn you. Watch the NSFW video below:
