Now You Can See Mourinho on Russian TV
Former Manchester United manager, José Mourinho, is set to host a new soccer analysis show on Russian TV, “channel RT”, formerly known as “Russia Today”.
Mourinho, who took Man United through the Champion’s League group stages, is now going to provide in depth analysis and coverage of the tournament.
His new biweekly show, called “On the touchline with José Mourinho” kicks off on 7 March, after the first two games of the Champions League last 16 second-leg matches, until the finals on 1 June.
Mourinho isn’t new to this role; he worked as a pundit for Moscow-based RT network during last year’s World Cup in Russia and for Qatari-based TV station, beIN Sports, last month.
In the new show’s promotional advert, the ‘Special One’ said: “I’m going to talk about football on RT. What else did you think I was going to do?”
He added: “I wanted a new challenge… I’m used to surprising people.”
