Noah’s ‘Daily Show’ debut gets a date

Comedy Central have announced the premiere date of SA comedian Trevor Noah’s debut as the new Daily Show host.

Current host Jon Stewart will exit the well known satirical news TV show on August 6 and Noah will replace him on September 28 according to Variety.

This comes after Noah was announced by Comedy Central as Stewart’s replacement back in March.

Noah has appeared frequently on the show in a recurring role since last year, making the SA funny man a fine fit for the job.

Of course with Stewart’s exit, part of the show’s title is subject to change, and Comedy Central have now confirmed the title change in an hilarious teaser trailer featuring Noah which you can watch below.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah debuts in the US on September 28, 2015.
