Nigerian Princess Raising Funds For Boko Haram Victims

Nigerian princess, Modupe Ozolua, of the Benin Empire in southern Nigeria, is currently in Atlanta in the US promoting her foundation that aims to raise funds for victims of Nigerian terrorist group, Boko Haram.

Princess Modupe Ozolua has been raising funds for Boko haram victims for quite some times.

Her foundation, Empower54, has been raising funds and aiding Boko Haram victims for the past 13 years.

This is the first time that she is raising funds for her foundation in the United States.

She will be hosting an African art gala on Saturday in Atlanta called “Rise Above Terror”, where all the proceeds will go to her foundation and the aid of Boko Haram victims.

40 pieces of original African artwork will be auctioned at the gala.

Princess Modupe Ozolua said that she hopes the money raised at the gala will go towards the rebuilding of schools and homes in villages burnt and destroyed by the terrorist group, as well as providing food and medical relief to the millions of affected Nigerians.
