Nicki Minaj “Says She’s Not Married” Amid Rumours
Despite referring to him as her “husband”, Nicki Minak has not married her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty.
The “Anaconda” hitmaker – who previously dated rappers including Nas, Safaree Samuels and Meek Mill – revealed her relationship with Petty via an Instagram post in December 2018.
Last week, Minaj set tongues wagging after she dubbed Petty as her “husband” while discussing her love life during an episode of her Beats 1 radio show, “Queen Radio”.
Although fans speculated that Minaj and Petty tied the knot in secret, a source close to the couple set the record straight on the rumours.
The source explained: “People are questioning if [Minaj is] secretly [to] married him. But [Minaj] says she’s not married; it’s just a term she likes to use for [Petty] to show how much he means to her.”
However, the source added: “But eventually it will be true, because they are going to marry. It’s only a matter of time. [Minaj] is sure [Petty is] the one.”
