Nicki Minaj Gives Birth to 1st Child
Nicki Minaj is a mother!
According to reports, the “Super Bass” hitmaker gave birth on Wednesday, 30 September, at a hospital in Los Angeles, California.
Information about the newborn’s name or sex is not known at this time.
This is the 37-year-old rapper’s first child with husband Kenneth Petty, whom she married in October 2019. She announced her pregnancy on social media in July this year, posting photos of herself cradling her baby bump wearing a bejewelled bikini and high heels.
On Twitter, the Barbz – the nickname given to Minaj’s army of online fans – extended their congratulations.
One user wrote: “Congrats on your firstborn child, Queen! Prayers and love to your blossoming family!”
Another user gushed: “God Bless, Be Strong, Keep Safe and have a good health [sic]. We know that you can sustain all the needs of your baby. We’re here to support you not just fan but as a bothers [sic] and sisters.”
