Nick Woltemade Joins Juventus On Loan
Nick Woltemade will be linking up with Juventus for the 2026/27 Serie A season on loan from Newcastle United.
According to reports, Borussia Dortmund rejected a proposed deadline-day swap deal from the Magpies that would have seen the 24-year-old forward heading to Germany as a makeweight for midfielder Felix Nmecha.
After Dortmund’s refusal, Woltemade completed a deadline-day loan move to Juve after seeing his playing time severely limited at St James’ Park.
The German striker, who joined Newcastle for a club-record €75 million from VfB Stuttgart in August last year, managed just 20 minutes in Newcastle’s opening two English Premier League matches this season.
Woltemade’s temporary exit follows a summer of major overhauls at St James’ Park, which included the departure of head coach Eddie Howe and key stars Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon.
