Neymar Keen For PSG Exit, Return to Barcelona
Neymar is apparently desperate to get out of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and return to Barcelona, but the club bigwigs have yet to confirm if a deal – if any – will happen or not.
It is unconfirmed if Neymar is happy at the French football club, but he is reportedly not satisfied with the quality of football in Ligue 1 – which PSG has won twice.
According to reports, lax communication between the two club heads has stalled any progress on a potential transfer.
The Parisians have set an asking price of £160 million for any potential player purchases, while the Catalan giants have not offered anything close to the number.
Jordi Cardoner, Barcelona vice-chairman, said that a deal would not be possible this summer, but did indicate that a later date would be more feasible for Neymar.
He said: “There is a lot of respect between the clubs and if there is a Neymar case one day, we’ll talk. Today, at this time, it’s ruled out.”
The Spanish transfer window closes on 2 September, leaving the clubs with less than a month to seal any trades.
